In order to establish a base of relationships for team building, the Scouts Team organized a barbeque event for scout members on 20th November, 2009 at Shek O Beach.
To further enhance, our senior Scout members, the leadership and communication skills, they were responsible for planning the rundown and the overall arrangements of the activity under the teachers-in-charge’ guidance. Also, they were asked to train our new members to fire safely and efficiently the stove for the event with sets of procedures. This may, however, help our new members get involved into the scouts activities and gain confidence from working on the practical tasks.為建立童軍的融和關係和小隊合作精神，童軍團於二零零九年十一月二十日於石澳泳灘舉辨了迎新燒烤活動。
為進一步發展童軍成員在領導和溝通上的技巧，資深的童軍成員在領袖老師的指導下，負責計劃整個活動的流程和作出相應安排，並教授新童軍會員如何安全和快捷地燃點火種，此活動能讓新會員更能投入童軍的活動以及從過程中學習並增進自信心。
