In order to enhance students’ skills in computer programming, and to widen their scopes of horizon in I.T. industry, the mobile learning team has organized an activity to visit the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Prof. Wong Kin-hong together with a number of guest speakers were trying hard to give our students more information about the current trends of the I.T. industry, and let them explore the cutting-edge technology during the briefing session. To further arouse students’ interest, the department has invited some student-demonstrators to show us their innovative works, and the research centers. During the demonstration, our students were given opportunity to interact with those students’ products and our students agree this is really an invaluable experience to get taste of what the I.T. could be like.

為進一步提高本校學生的電腦知識、編寫程式的能力以及讓學生能夠廣闊其視野，移動學習小組剛於2009年12月19日參加了中文大學計算機科學與工程學系的簡介會。

本校的學生於簡介會中獲益良多，不但可從黃健康教授與各個講者嘉賓身上認識到現今I.T.行業的趨勢和發展，還可以了解到大學的有關課程以及其收生程序和要求等重要升學資料。 為了進一步提高學生的興趣，有關學系更邀請了該系的高材生介紹學系中不同的研究重地，以及讓學生們親身感受和使用由該系學生由構思到成品的機械/電腦裝置，讓學生可以從另一個角度感受到I.T.的重要性和發展，從而對I.T. 有更深入的了解和認識。
