25 students of our school took part in the “Sustainable Built Environment – My Vision” Photography and Writing Competition held by Council for Sustainable Development of Hong Kong Government this year. Choi Ho Yin Scott and Ngai Fung Dennis from Class 3A impressed the judges by sharing their precious views on building design to foster a quality and sustainable built environment in their excellent pieces of work which stood out from more than a thousand competitors, getting two merit prizes for our school. The prize winners shared their joy with their parents in the award presentation ceremony launched in Youth Plaza y Art Museum on 23rd January 2010. The good news boosts our school to promote further on sustainable development concept within school and in the community. This competition is actually one of the activities available for the participating schools to join for qualifying the Bronze Award under the Sustainable Development School Award Programme, paving for completion of Gold Award in the near future.

本校今年共有二十五位學生參加了由可持續發展委員會所舉辦之「可持續建築環境─我想、我見」中學生攝影徵文比賽，三甲班蔡浩然及魏峰同學在作品中發表了對香港建築環境的一些期盼與訴求，作品得到評審賞識，在過千份優秀作品當中脫穎而出，獲得兩個優異獎項。兩位同學與家人出席於一月二十三日在柴灣「青年廣場y綜藝館」舉行的頒獎典禮，一同分享得獎喜悅，得獎消息實為本校在社區推行「可持續發展」概念跨進一大步，此項比賽乃屬可持續發展學校獎勵計劃(銅獎)活動之一，也為完成金獎計劃而鋪路。
