Chinese Culture Day

This year marks the 3rd Chinese Culture Day, and the theme focuses on ethnic minorities, offering a fresh perspective compared to previous years.

This event showcased an Inner Mongolian yurt, providing students with a glimpse into the nomadic lifestyle on the grasslands. Additionally, attendees had the chance to try on traditional costumes from various ethnic groups and learn about the cultural symbols they represent.

Students engaged in hands-on activities, creating water-dyed fans, sugar paintings, and dragon beard candies. They also participated in mini dragon boat races and lion dance performances, immersing themselves in traditional Chinese customs. A stilt-walking performance highlighted the instructor's impressive balancing skills. Through these experiences, we aim for students to gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of the richness of Chinese culture.
