CFSS teachers and students visiting Stonecutters Island Barracks Exhibition Center

On the morning of July 4, Principal Mr. Ho Tik Shun and Deputy Principal Mr. Kwok Yih Feng Sabastein led a group of 50 senior-form students on a visit to the Stonecutters Island Barracks Exhibition Center. The students began their experience with a national defense lecture, which provided insights into the operations of aircraft carriers. Following this, they had the opportunity to board the "Zhanjiang" and "Yuncheng" ships.

The Zhanjiang (hull number 165) is an advanced version of the 052D missile destroyer, developed and built by our nation, primarily tasked with fleet air defense operations. The Yuncheng (hull number 571) is a 054A missile frigate, also independently developed by our country, focusing on fleet fire support and short-range air defense operations.

Overall, the trip proved to be highly rewarding. In addition to receiving souvenirs, the students gained a deeper understanding of the significance of national defense and security, recognizing the dedication of each crew member in maintaining peace and prosperity for the country and its people.
