Joyful Parenting Programme: Parent-Child Wargame Adventure
CFSS has always prioritized collaboration between home and school. To support parents and children in navigating growth challenges together, our Student Support Team organized the “Joyful Parenting Programme” activities this academic year. A key event was the 'Parent-Child Wargame Adventure' held on July 12 (Sat), where 16 family groups gathered excitedly at the War Zone venue in Lai Chi Kok.
After the coach outlined the game rules and safety measures, participants were split into two teams to commence the battle. What began as a group of strangers transformed into enthusiastic discussions about strategies and game results, creating a memorable experience for each family. Throughout the event, there were no age or status barriers; parents and children engaged in open dialogue, showing respect and acceptance for one another. They relied on each other in the heat of the game and stood side by side against their opponents.
This close-knit and trusting dynamic is invaluable, and we hope it continues to thrive beyond this event.
