Ceremony to commemorate 80th Anniversary of Victory in Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and World Anti-Fascist War

September 3rd marks the "Victory Day of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression," a day on which the country holds commemorative activities annually. The school is dedicated to fostering students' national identity. On this significant day, the Moral and Civic Education Team had organized a series of engaging activities. The Team presented the history of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression through special short films and a themed exhibition titled "Remember History, Cherish Peace," set up in the open playground. The School Library was hosting a special book exhibition celebrating "The 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression," which would run for two months. The HD Campus TV Team broadcast the live commemoration by China Central Television of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War this morning, with all teachers and students participating in a military parade.

The Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression is a pivotal chapter in history that resonates with every Chinese person. Commemorating this event is not about fostering resentment but rather about acknowledging the atrocities of war and learning from the past. It serves as a reminder to value peace and strengthen our national identity. We must unite, enhance our awareness of national security, remain vigilant in peacetime, and protect our homeland.
