CFSS Students Taking Part in The Competition on System Development through AppSheet & OpenData for Smart City
In an era defined by the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence and an expanding ecosystem of development tools, the process of building Information Systems has become more streamlined and accessible. Developers are no longer required to write every line of code manually or construct each programming block from the ground up.
The System Development through AppSheet & OpenData for Smart City competition was designed to immerse students in this modern development landscape. By integrating Google AppSheet with Open Data and Gemini AI, participants were empowered to create functional, intelligent systems with minimal coding experience. This approach significantly lowers the entry barrier for system development, making it more inclusive and intuitive for learners from diverse backgrounds.
With the superb performance of the students, they were subsequently invited to showcase their products at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 22nd to 24th August, 2025.
