Empowering Minds: Principal Chow Sik-Cheong Engages DSE Students in a Transformative Talk
On the afternoon of 27 January 2026 (Tue), our Founding Principal, Chow Sik-Cheong, delivered an enlightening talk to our S.4 and S.5 students. Entitled “Study for DSE,” his presentation covered a wide array of essential skills vital for success in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) exams. He emphasized the importance of not only mastering subject-specific knowledge but also integrating that knowledge into broader, transferable skills.
Principal Chow skillfully highlighted the significance of critical thinking and other cognitive abilities, demonstrating how diligent study habits can enhance mental capacity. He further discussed recent assessment trends in exam papers, providing students with valuable insights into the evolving landscape of examinations.
Drawing from his impressive 60 years of experience in the education sector, he shared his lifelong ambition for learning and growth, illustrating his commitment to education through ongoing research and study, even 15 years after his retirement. His personal journey served as a powerful motivator for the students, inspiring them to embrace their own educational paths with determination and resilience. As a result of his impactful message, students left the talk energized and committed to giving their best in the upcoming examinations.
