“Peony Pavilion and the Yellow Earth” Chinese Orchestra Opening Concert
CFSS makes her best endeavors to advocate Music Education and promote Chinese Culture, offering students various precious opportunities to expose to performing arts and appreciation of music and culture in the globe. A total of 39 students and teachers participated in the“Peony Pavilion and the Yellow Earth” Chinese Orchestra Opening Concert organized by Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra in Hong Kong Cultural Center Concert Hall in the night of 17th September, unveiling the opening of the 45th season of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. Students got embraced by “One Hundred Chinese Music Class Select” series of outstanding Chinese music, flying from the dreamy soundscape of qudi and zheng to the compelling and poetic expressions of the pipa until reaching the heart of Chinese music. Students were also fortunately to be interviewed, expressing their love and admiration to the superb Chinese music performance.
