CFSS Students Shine at “China Expo: Understanding Our Era” Study Sharing Session, Two Awarded Outstanding Participants
On Friday, 29 May, teachers and students of our school went to Heung To Secondary School to participate in the sharing session of the “China Expo: Understanding Our Era” study programme, organised by the CMG Youth Federation. This event is also one of the projects under the “Heartfelt Home, Cherished Nation” scheme endorsed by the Education Bureau, carrying profound educational significance.
During the session, student representatives from various schools presented their rich learning outcomes, covering topics such as history, culture, technology, and social development. The officiating guests, Dr. Choi Yuk-lin JP, Secretary for Education, along with leaders from China Merchants Group, delivered inspiring speeches that deeply encouraged both teachers and students.
Most notably, Wang Ho Lui (S.3E) and Chu Ho Wang (S.5A) stood out among nearly 200 participants and were both selected for the “Outstanding Participant Award” based on their exceptional performance in the exchange programme and the writing workshop. Moreover, Chu Ho Wang was chosen as a student representative to share his experiences and insights on stage, demonstrating the growing confidence and achievements of CFSS students in inter-school learning exchanges.
This event not only deepened our students’ understanding of national conditions and Chinese culture but also broadened their horizons. We hope all students will follow the example of Wang Ho Lui and Chu Ho Wang, actively taking part in various study programmes in the future, and strike a balance between book learning and real-life exploration, continuously equipping themselves to become a new generation with both national commitment and a global perspective.
