Alumni Luncheon Address: Strengthening CFSS Bonds and Celebrating Our Alma Mater's Growth
On Saturday, 12 September, our school welcomed over two hundred “CFSSers” who gathered together to attend the Alumni Luncheon organised by the Alumni Association. First and foremost, the school would like to extend its sincerest welcome and heartfelt gratitude to every “CFSSer” who joined us. We thank the School Sponsoring Body for fully sponsoring the luncheon, and the Alumni Association for its sincere invitation and meticulous planning. It is truly our honour and deeply moving for the school that you took time out of your busy schedules to return and share this bond and joy with your alma mater.
Since the founding of The Chinese Foundation Secondary School in 2000, we have witnessed the school’s continuous growth and progress along the way. Our students have achieved outstanding results in areas such as academics, the arts, sports, innovation and technology, and community service; our graduates have also excelled in various professional fields around the world, becoming pillars of society. The achievements of every alumnus are not only personal successes, but also accomplishments that make our alma mater proud. We take pride in you, and it is you who make us shine.
Today’s gathering is especially meaningful. Seeing alumni from different graduating years return to campus, I believe many precious and beautiful memories have come flooding back to everyone’s mind. Alumni are important members of the school family. No matter how many years have passed since graduation, this bond will only grow more precious as time goes by. “Once a CFSSer, always a CFSSer” is not merely a slogan, but a shared belief and commitment that we all hold dear.
